Business & Champagne
Business & Champagne

Real connections and a glass of something good.

The Experience Salt Lake City, Utah October 1–5, 2026

Networking doesn’t happen at an event.
It happens at the right table.

Business & Champagne is an events brand for people who grow through the quality of the room, not the size of it. The seating is decided before you arrive, and it is decided on purpose.

The Experience · No. 09

Salt Lake City

October 1–5, 2026

The Experience is the long form. Five days, one room, and a small group working through every part of a business: marketing, sales, operations, product, finance. No stage, and no badge on a lanyard.

Business.

What you actually do on Monday. Growth and execution, talked about the way people talk about them when nobody is presenting.

Champagne.

A reason to celebrate, a room worth being seen in, and every detail held to the same standard. Discretion included.

The editions

Where the table has been set.

Eight so far, across California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Washington and Nevada. Several were held inside partner offices and private homes rather than venues. That was the point.

The format

Structured enough to work.
Loose enough to be a good night.

Two formats. The editions are an evening. The Experience is five days. Both run on the same rule: the seating is decided before you arrive.

  1. 01

    Arrival

Name on a list, glass in hand, and a read on the room before anyone sits down.

  2. 02

    The table

Seats are assigned. Who sits next to whom is the one decision that makes the night.

  3. 03

    The floor

Guests, short talks, one idea worth keeping. All of it in service of the conversation.

  4. 04

    After

Professional coverage, then the follow-up. The event does not end when it ends.

The collaborative book

Stories of entrepreneurs who turn ideas into companies.

A regional series where entrepreneurs from the same area each write a chapter, including the parts that went wrong. Massachusetts was the first edition, Maryland the second. Connecticut and New Jersey are next.

One-to-one editorial support, professional editing and layout, an ISBN, printed copies, and a launch night with the rest of the authors in the room.

Who’s at the table

We seat the room before we fill it.

Not everyone who asks gets a seat, and that isn’t vanity. A table only works when everyone at it can give the others something they need.

  • Entrepreneurs and independent professionals running something real.
  • People who treat positioning and relationships as strategy, not small talk.
  • Operators who notice when an experience is well produced, and when it isn’t.
  • Anyone growing through the quality of their network rather than the size of it.

Tell us who you are and which table you want.

Requests are reviewed as they arrive. If there’s a fit, you’ll hear the city, the date and what to expect before any of it is public.

No newsletter, no drip. We write when there’s a date.
